Deputy Pam Vanhoy is the Stanly County Sheriff's  D.A.R.E. officer.  Deputy Vanhoy works at all the Elementary Schools in the county.  In the school year 2007-2008 Deputy Vanhoy provided the  D.A.R.E. curriculum to twelve (12) different schools with 592 students.  In the school year of 2008-2009 Deputy Vanhoy see's an increase of the number of students that she will instruct.   Deputy Vanhoy also is the Sheriff's Office Crime Prevention officers and she offers presentations to homeowner associations and to groups that request her programs.  Deputy Vanhoy is a valuable asset to the Sheriff's Office and to the D.A.R.E. program. 

 

Deputy Pam Vanhoy along with other DARE Officers from across the State were guest of the Carolina Hurricanes in March.  Mascots from everywhere were there having fun with kids that were there for D.A.R.E. night.  Thank you Deputy Vanhoy for your dedication to the children of Stanly County.
